District Handover

The District Handover lunch at the Novotel at Long Eaton was well attended today (approx 120 persons). After lunch DG Gordon presented awards to various clubs for their activities over the last twelve months.  After making a final short speech he handed over the chain of office to me.  

Thanks to everyone who has sent Gail and I their best wishes for the next twelve months.

   Tomorrow (Monday) I shall be interviewing applicants for the post of  GSE TEam Leader to Nepal and then on Tuesday I start my round of visits to clubs with a trip to Newark Castle.
